42 feet target shooting

September 25, 2013 shooting 9/10 @ 42' or 14 yards no wind. Using Michel inspired composite darts shooting out of a two piece CS 5 footer BG with no sights.


Half size targets at the same distance.



My latest target setup @ 42 feet, the two 2" thick corrugated panel are easily switchable and replaceable. The above is half size with 3 cm bull and fourth size with 1.5 cm bull targets. Witch I us for long range shooting, practicing technique execution at 28 feet with a newly developed experimental set of 3 precision matched darts I've made. This helps me concentrate on shooting form and not distance and saves me the fatigue in walking the entire distance of +100x2 feet when retrieving the darts. At the bottom is standard size target only, with 6 cm diameter bull witch I have been using at mainly 42 feet. I'm also working on making targets on the opposing ends of my range so I can save half the walk at 42 feet.
