I am shooting a CS blowgun with a variety of darts shooting into my slingshot catch box. I normally put a few empty soda boxes behind my target, but I'm looking for something that will more readily stop my darts without damaging my slingshot back stop materials. What is everyone using? I've seen archery blocks being used as well as boxes filled with other boxes.

Depends on the darts you are using. I just tape a target to a cheap dartboard and it works well for the mini broadheads(same concept for the razor broadheads). I usually use my slingshot catch box for the stun darts. If you are using thin wire or skewers, you would need dense foam or an archery mat (they are ruined after 2 or 3 shots into a dartboard)

I use the slingshot back stop . Yes it tears up the T-shirt ts but they can be replaced cheaply . Why not make a separate catch box for the blow gun ? The thrift store has an endless supply of t-shirts. I also like to use an archery foam backstop if I want to see dart sticks . The drawback here is damaging cones with consistent shooting .

I used a large heavily stuffed couch pillows that I would buy at the Salvation army were a buck or less ... would last forever (probable 3-5 bucks now), could refill it if need be, very easy to pull darts out and made no noise when going in ..... best backstops I ever used for blowguns !

I had a range of about 10-12 yards from one end of my house to the furthest section that was reachable. Could shoot when it was 110deg out, when it was raining or any time of day ... Perfect ..... I set up a ~ 4x4 ? piece of very thin plywood in back just in case I had a flier ... and that used to happen ;- )
