What differentiates a Big Bore from a non-big bore?

I always thought that 50 cal. and up was big bore. The .38 and .40 being small.
Not sure of the criteria, but my Cold Steel is .625, with a wall thickness of 1.7mm. It has a rubber end on it, and can actually be used as a walking stick, and even as a club type weapon.
I like that CS model, as I walk with sticks quite often.
Big bore is what Cold Steel calls their blowguns because the caliber is .625. It is the go to in terms of blowgun hunting. Great quality too from Cold Steel.
Thanks for the clarification!
Big Bore means the largest commercial bore made, which right now is .625 cal. I don't think anything bigger would be practical.
I've heard a couple guys saying how much they love their four foot 75 calibers. Bigger bores enable bigger broadheads.
