Yeah, I know I'm not the first person to shoot at a foam ball. I saw a pic of a dart-filled ball over at another forum and thought I'd give it a try. Shooting at objects is waaay more fun (for me, anyway) than shooting at paper.

I've been working on "puffing" a little harder and making sure I have a good seal at the mouthpiece. It seems to be helping velocity.

You know what else is fun to shoot at? Them cheapo little christmas ornaments, the little small balls.

I've been massacring those with both slingshot and blow gun.

I've been able to get some marbles to shoot through my ColdSteel blow gun, some get STUCK, but others get fairly good distance for smashing little things.

Nice shooting man! I have done that too. It is fun. I like drawing a kill zone on stuffed animals and shooting them,. . haha

What kind of ball is it? I was about to buy a styrofoam ball agt WalMart, but I don't think it will last very long. Is that a gutted softball?

It's a dense foam rubber. It came out of a toddler-sized baseball and bat set.

I won a couple stuffed animals from one of those grab machines while I was leaving walmart the other day. Instant BG target.

I shoot at the little styrofoam balls all the time. It's great practice for hunting. You just throw them out, then walk away for a bit. They are at an unknown distance, and are about the right size for small game. And, every time you hit one, the range will change again.
