They're are back and available for purchase . The ideal dart for hunting . I ordered some from http://midwayusa.com . I'll do a review when they arrive .
I recently found that a sharp point doesn't penetrate a snake.. I made some darts out of finishing nails. I made some w/ point out and others reversed, with the semi rounded end out. The rounded end was much better at dispatching a water moccasin than the sharp end was. The sharp end bounced off, and the dull end sunk in to the cone.
In regards to a snake, hitting it under or beside a scale, a blunt dart might appear to penetrate better when the reality is that it simply struck a more effective location in the scalation.
