Hey everybody. I can almost never resist a new blowgun forum! I've been shooting blowguns for a long time.
It's great to find kindred spirits who have enough hot air to propel darts and pellets and talk about it too.
I'm in Illinois, sorta near Chicago. I do most of my shooting in the basement, where I've got enough room for a 10m shooting range.
I've got an assortment of blowguns in all the commercially popular calibers and quite a few "non-standard" homemade calibers too. I enjoy making my own darts, modifying commercial ammo, and I guess most of all I like to make and shoot sabot rounds in all of my blowguns. I use various types of sabots to launch BBs, steel pellets, tungsten-iron pellets, subcaliber commercial darts (such as a .40 caliber mega spike dart from a .625 bore), special low-drag subcaliber darts, and other items from time to time.
I recently had a patent issue on a blowgun sabot system. If interested, anybody can take a peek at it here:

I'll be gearing up for commercial production during the year. If Aaron's in agreement, I'd like to add a first-run edition as a prize in the grand opening drawing.
