So I've seen plenty of exploding darts around the interwebs, but usually they use cheap and disappointing caps, or expensive and dangerous .22 ammo. I've seen a couple guys use fuseless firecrackers, but they usually just tape them to a mini broadhead or something. I wanted something reusable and quick to reload, consistent, and elegant if I may be so bold. What I came up with was a piece of 1/4" x 1" silicone coated fiberglass sleeving, a .50 cal stun dart, and some "Sumo Snap" fuseless firecrackers.
20 Snaps for about $3, so about $0.15 a pop
Remember kids, stay safe!
Sumo Snaps come packed with sawdust just like the cheap pop-it's
The 3 main components. .50 stun dart, silicone coated fiberglass sleeving, fuseless firecracker
This is basically it, just unloaded.
Now a fuseless firecracker is GENTLY inserted to the metal part of the stun dart. And there you have it, a simple, elegant, reusable exploding dart. While they can be reused, there will be a significant amount of fiberglass dust the first couple of times.
Again, this article is for EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY! I am not responsible for your actions, and I WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS! Putting a firecracker anywhere near your face is dangerous and stupid and could result in SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH.
