Welcome aboard. That's one of the cool things about blowguns, they're fairly easy to be accurate with right from the get go. Amazingly easy, actually.
You bet I do!! I love making stuff. Been doing my slingshots but in the winter I may be able to do blowguns. Seems the cold will affect blowgun less than the rubber on slingshots. Looking forward to learning from you guyswelcome to the forum.....do you plan to make your own BG?
The biggest problem with cold weather and blowguns is a faster build up of condensation in the barrel. In summer heat it is no problem but in winter shooting it is a good idea to swab the bore after every two or three shots or after making sure there are no darts in there draw dry air back through the barrel to get the condensate to evaporate. Don't bet your teeth on Cold Steel's "anti-inhale" ring. Some cones will trespass! You bet I do!! I love making stuff. Been doing my slingshots but in the winter I may be able to do blowguns.
