That’s a good idea, I use cardboard boxes until they are all punched up. This roll would last longer and not expensive is a plus.

have bought a jute ribbon at the discount store.
The whole thing is rolled up a disc about 13.5 cm (5.3 inch) in diameter.
The disc is 5 cm (2 inch) thick.
The advantage the medium is soft and the arrows are not damaged (eg bent).

In the middle picture, I fired a few shots from about 5 meters away.
