what gun and darts would you use?

As for the blowgun. I see the big bore comes in 4 or 5 foot and then there is the professional model with the dame lengths. Which would you suggest?

I would suggest the 5 foot standard in either the one or two piece . More versatile because you have the option of adding a two foot extension . The professional model features a much thicker wall construction . Unnecessary unless you going to use it as a walking stick or club . The standard wall thickness is the way to go . 5 foot length seems perfect .

Super! I'm looking at the midway usa website and I like the 5 foot two piece. Not bad pricing compared to other sites. I will also go with the darts you suggested for blunt force trauma. But since I am making a purchase I think I should invest in another type of hunting dart for outdoor use with mice. Would you go for the razor tip or the mini broad head. The razor tip are more expensive and loak as though they would be very effective...but would the mini broad head (much cheaper) be just as effective?

For mice the mini broad broad head will be good .

Thanks so much. I've become very excited about this. When I first began my search and understanding of a blowgun I was ready to walk into my locate walmart and buy the joke of a blowgun they sell. I would buy the Cold Steel 5 foot 2 piece. It gives you flexibility, as you said you are in a house, and therefore tight quarters. The stun/skewer dartd should be used in the house and the mini broad heads in the field.
